Claims Process
1. Application – Complete Our claim form online or call our team on 1300 236 433 2. Liability approved – A replacement vehicle will be delivered once claim has been approved by the at fault insurer 3. Monitoring claim and repairs – Status of claim will be updated throughout claim 4. Vehicle Return – Once repairs are complete our team will arrange collection of replacement vehicle.
Conditions of Replacement Vehicle
Under the terms of our agreement which is provided to you on delivery, not at fault drivers still have a contractual liability for the charges. In the event that you’re not at fault for the accident State Claim will aim at recovering the credit hire cost of the hire vehicle from the at fault party. For a quick outcome our team will require all the details of the accident to assess and determine the status of your not at fault application.
We will ONLY require credit card details in the event of an accident which was caused by you e.g excess fee / tolls / fines.
Liability of claim
In the event of a claim not being accepted by the other parties insurer or a claim not being paid we will appoint solicitors to handle the claim from here on.
Our team will advise you of the solicitors appointed and still assist in part of the claim. Legal fees may apply if liability is an issue which our appointed solicitors will clearly outline in their terms and conditions.
